Andrea + Tom Married! November 6, 2009

Andrea and Tom could not have given me a better gift this fall!!!! They invited me to photograph their beautiful wedding in PA which just happens to be my favorite place as that is where I grew up!

This is a preview as Andrea can’t wait much longer!  Stay tuned because they took advantage of a beautiful fall day and the old mill where they got married and produced an amazingly beautiful DIY wedding!

Baby love November 5, 2009

I first met Heather a few years ago on the playground while our children happily played with one another!  Heather and I made small talk but it never went much further as we were (and still are) both busy moms and hadn’t much time for any “additions” to our lives!  We remained friendly but never really went much deeper then a friendly smile and a hello!  Our paths crossed again last summer after what was apparently a longer time then either of us realized.  My family had grown by 2 more boys! (another story for  another time!) and Heather was now pregnant with her second!  Our big kids picked up right were they left off and Heather and I are looking forward to some late afternoon play dates over a glass of wine : )

So you are about to see  Heather is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside and I begged her to let me do some belly shots!  So here we go!  By the way… Heather had her baby this morning and while I don’t have the details as of yet, stay tuned because we have big things planned for the newborn photos!!!!  Happy Birthday sweet sweet baby!

 

Beach pictures! October 1, 2009

This past August I spent my summer vacation at the Jersey Shore… if you’ve ever spent anytime there, you get it…. It really is where it all began for me with this amazing family. Many MANY years ago, I was fortunate to spend the entire summer in a little beach town called Sea Isle City. I lived with my best girlfriend and her family. To this day, it was the best summer of my life. To live at the beach was such a gift and to live with this family was a blessing. My girlfriend, Meg, comes from an Irish Catholic family with roots firmly planted in the family part! Both of her parents come from some of amazing families but Meg’s mom comes from a family with a story that makes one marvel at the human spirit and the love of  family undoubtedly instilled in each of the 8 siblings by their mother. The matriarch of the family is Mimi and she is simply the coolest “Mimi” I have ever met….The proof is in the fact that one Sunday afternoon this past July, a few of her daughters (she has 6 of them and 2 sons as well!) decided it would be a great idea to have their entire family portrait done on the beach… After all, this is probably Mimi’s favorite place in the entire world… Within a few hours and a few phone calls, everyone marked their calendars for Aug 15 to have a family picture taken for Mimi! It was my absolute honor to shoot all 40 of you!  I admire this family so much!  Thanks for always making me feel like I am part of the family!  Hugs!

Getting Started…*sigh*…. August 26, 2009

t’s time….  I have procrastinated long enough and now I see the value in all of this….. Actually, I have seen the value in it for a very long time, it’s just I have had no idea where to start and quite honestly I did not want to have one more thing to do on my to do list.  HOWEVER, I have met some amazing people and photographed some incredible weddings and I really just wanted to share their stories with others…  So, I will share some of my story first…  My name is Stephanie…I am a wife to a great man, a mommy to 3 incredible little boys, a daughter to my adoring parents, a loyal friend to many, and most importantly, a believer in God.  I mentions this because without any of this, I would not be the person I am today. While I give all the credit to God above, He has certainly blessed my life with some of the most amazing people and I cannot imagine my life without them.  You probably want to know a little more… I love loving my husband and 3 boys…I can’t really get thru a day without a fountain soda…I cannot think of a place on this earth that makes me happier than the beach…I love a good roller coaster and I think amusement parks are just plain good for the heart.  I love all kinds of music and I  love watching football with my husband… really! One day I hope to golf on a regular basis and read books with chapters again! I love my work and I have fallen in love with the human spirit!  Stay tuned…. you’ll see for yourself!
